Visible icons in Mac OS X are stored in the resource fork of files. Applications have their icons in separate files in the icns format. This program creates an icns file for any icon on your desktop, by drag-and-drop.
First release. It works well, and was an hour's work, so it isn't likely there will be any more versions.
